On October 1, TVFC opened Fire Prevention Week with the annual Open House. Events this evening included a demonstration by the Montgomery County Bomb Disposal Unit, a landing of a PennStar helicopter, a vehicle rescue demonstration by Perseverance Fire Company, Station 74 and a live burn highlighting the effectiveness of sprinklers.
